I was able to back level QUSRSYS library and then restored it, I
was still missing my host table file entries. The workaround I
used was to create the QATOCHOST file in QTEMP library then I
took option 11 to merge the host table file, this worked with no
problems.
Presumably back level QUSRSYS, then /installed/ the QUSRSYS.?
Anyhow...
If the QUSRSYS library became *BACKLEVEL by restoring the saved
v5r4 QUSRSYS library into an empty [i.e. not yet installed] v6r1
QUSRSYS, then if there was user data in a "HOST table file" in the
saved v5r4 QUSRSYS library, the install of the v6r1 QUSRSYS should
have converted the user data into the v6r1 equivalent. If instead
the *BACKLEVEL effect was achieved by restoring the saved v5r4
QUSRSYS over the installed v6r1 QUSRSYS using the ALWOBJDIF(*ALL),
then that usage error could cause unpredictable results for both
that and various other user data [files].
