Scott, Richard, THANKS!

Worked like a charm! And now I have a PUTENVVAR command that is nice, flexible and LONG!

Great suggestion, easy too.

Pete

Hey Pete,

Use the putenv API. It works great and you can wrap your own command
around it.

Any idea of how to set a classpath in CL greater than a 1024
characters? I tried ADDENVVAR but it is limited to 1024 characters. I
thought I had seen a post in the past but a search of the archives
didn't turn up a solution.

Don't ask why the classpath is so long...sigh...

Pete
