Hold the job so it stops eating CPU. Does it use IP communications? If
so, look for it connections in NETSTAT *CNN and kill them. Sometimes
that allows the job to actually end. After killing the connection,
release the job and give it a couple minutes to end. If that does not
end it, hold the job until the next IPL.

Subject: Job in System which cannot end

Hi All,

Today I got a problem in my 520 server which is, there is a job which
cannot
be end even after using ENDJOBABN command.

One program calling Java classes and this program, my team mate was
debugging the program and it suddenly got stuck we tried to end the
program
but its not getting ended. And in active jobs it shows as END and taking
CPU
over 50%

Does any one have an Idea about this?
