The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.

Thank you Lukas.
Of course the initial sales person led my boss to believe that this
was the magic box to combine all our network storage needs to off-site
replication (we have windows, IBM i, and VMS).
NetApp's products are quite good in my opinion, but IBM has severely
restricted SAN support for the IBM i platform (so that they can
continue selling overpriced disks).
If your sales contact told you that the IBM i could use the NetApp
Storage as general-purpose, they'd be wrong. But you can use SMB
(QNTC) or NFS (MOUNT) to store streamfiles on the NetApp storage,
directly from your IBM i.
iSCSI, however, is used for block-level storage.
