An entire digest consisting of 764 lines of unrelated text was posted to effect a ten line announcement? There should be little reason to use Reply or Forward from an existing email [digest mode or not] to address you message to the list. Simply add a nickname for the addressee, then just compose and send the email to that addressee rather than using an existing message to obtain the address.
