RE: SQL JOIN with LIKE

I'm trying query a parts table to pull a group of parts that contain a
specific string.

I've been given a list of identifiers (more than 30), here's a few of
them:
G150F
G150K
G150M
H90

I could write the SQL statement to include all the different like
values,
but I was trying to figure out a way to do it by joining to a table
that has
the values.
Is there a way to do this in DB2?

Wouldn't this work:

SELECT ... FROM TABLE1 T1
JOIN TABLE2 T2 on T1.FIELD LIKE '%'||T2.PARTFIELD||'%'
