There is an ODBC driver from IBM for use in Linux. ODBC isn't specific to Windows, it's a general standard. It just happens to have been used most in relation to Windows.

The only one I know of is IBM's ODBC driver for Linux. There might be one from Hit Software - check them out, but I don't say it cuz I have heard it, I just think of them as an alternative source for ODBC stuff.
