I'm looking for an API that will give me a list of user profiles
currently
signed on to the system. I have to support back to V5R3, so I
started
with the API documentation for that release level. I don't see an
API
specifically for this purpose. Do I need to find the active
subsystems
and then list the jobs that are active and work back from there?

I would start with QUSLJOB. Of course, when you say "work backward from
there," you'd just need to look at the job type (interactive) attribute, and
then your "work backward" would be done... except for any duplicate
checking, right?
