We only have one partition which uses 9 gigs

How large is the active data set being used?

We have several tables with hundreds of thousands, and one with nearly 2 million. I'm not sure which jobs are accessing which data since I have not been able to work with our ERP vendor in order to better understand these processes.

How many users are on this system?

About 20 active on average

How many disks do you have, of what type and to which kind of controller are they attached to using which protection mode?

We have 12 disks in two raid 5 arrays which average less then 20% busy

I understand that you are trying to get a bigger picture of what may be going on, but I was under the impression that the amount of paging I described would indicate a serious memory constraing regardless of other symptoms. Is that not correct?

What makes you think you have a lot of "small memory footprint" jobs running?

I don't, it's a hypothesis I want to test. Got any ideas?
