I have now implemented NFS from AS/400 to AS/400. Seems to be pretty
darn good. Only issue I ran into was with max frame and V5R4. V5R4 NFS
is UDP so there is no frame size negotiation. By default I have all of
my interfaces configured for jumbo frame.....our network doesn't support
hence your NFS stuff just goes into a bit bucket somewhere. Took some
time to figure out but and then correct but all in all it was a simple
to go backwards....
My question is what kind of feedback has anyone received from the
Windows side? Performance, security, reliability, etc.? My impression
is that if it isn't SMB based that most Windows admins would not be
comfortable with it.
