The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
We develop a lot of new IBM i applications with custom browser user interfaces, and expect that at some point we'll have a requirement to develop something for a mobile device. I mostly endorse the practical advice shared by Greg Hintermeister in his article.
It appears to me that the HTC Hero supports a browser interface, or alternatively an Adobe Flash interface. I also assume it comes with a proprietary developer SDK, but did not come across any information about it. Do you have any information about the SDK option? Have you considered Adobe Flex?
