The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

You can control QSH output with the QIBM_QSH_CMD_OUTPUT environment
variable.
For example, to suppress the output altogether, you'd do:
ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(QIBM_QSH_CMD_OUTPUT) +
VALUE(NONE) +
REPLACE(*YES)
QSH CMD(...my-cmd...)
Or if you prefer, to log the messages you might do something like this:
ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(QIBM_QSH_CMD_OUTPUT) +
VALUE(FILEAPPEND=/var/log/tomslog.txt) +
REPLACE(*YES)
QSH CMD(...my-cmd...)
In that case, it writes the messages to a file, which might be useful
for troubleshooting.

I am running a QSH in batch and want to suppress the print of the error log
when an exception occurs.
Is there any way in QSH to do this? Could not see any reference to it when I
searched.
Or do you have to dump it out to a special outque and then clear the outque
or something like that?
