Not sure if you're open to commercial software, but our iSeries Office
Integrator product can be used to automate the running of PC tasks
in-line within a CL program.
We also provide feedback from the application calls after they run.
Check out our web page for more info and you can register for a FREE 30
day trial.
You could also try using the Client Access STRPCCMD option, but it's
severely limited to running simple command lines.

Not sure where I should post this, so will start here.
We would like to call an Excel & Access from inside a CL. We have a
user that calls multiples Excel programs. I would like to combine these
into on CL. This would make it easier and cleaner.
Any help and/or examples would be greatly appreciated.
