No, you are all set. Only the LIC is V5R4M5, the operating system is V5R4M0 no matter which M0 or M5 version of LIC you are running.

No, I think you have it backwards. You might have V5R4M5 or V5R4M0 of LIC, but you can only have V5R4M0 of i5/OS. Do a DSPPTF 5722999 and see what version you have there.

My backup 9406 has V5R4M0 LIC and V5R4M5 OS. I want to update the LIC to V5R4M5. Do I have to reload the base CD's after I reload the new LIC from CD ?
