The only time I could work from home at my last job was when the weather
made it impossible to be at the office. I could work after hours, and get
paid, as long as the work was billable. That created accountability
automatically. If you were goofing off, the billable hours would mount up
with nothing to show for it.

You can work from home all you want at my current job. You just don't get
paid. You can only work from the office during normal working hours unless
you are onsite with a customer.

I can certainly understand the other side of the coin. You come to work at
the office, you are seen. Management gets a better feeling that you are
actually working. Even though you may be in your office responding to list
entries... :)
