I have a client with 2 iSeries, a 520 with 1 5095 and 2 integrated xseries
(not so integrated, they are full xseries servers with hsl loops, crazy
thing). and a 810. I was thinking we could connect both systems with the
HSL2 loop, since the manual says that a two system loop supports up to 4 io
towers/integrated servers. The manual says something like needing 5722SS1
option 23 for that, is that really necesary (i assume yes, since it is
"OptiConnect")? is there any way around it?
I really like playing with this kind of thing..
