As you probably know, that is a media read error which doesn't quite add
up if it was done reading the media. Is this an initial load of the OS?
An upgrade?
I am not familiar enough with the OS loading procedure to know if the
media error is with the CD or now it can't be read from disk.
Perhaps a call to IBM support? I saw one APAR but it had to do with a
network install, which doesn't apply.
