The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
After this we expect that the level-ids of the two files are identical.
However they are not. The record formats are the same (number of fields,
field placement etcetera).
Because of this we get a level check when doing a CPYF from TRNFILE to
LOGFILE.
You get a CPF4131 on a CPYF? That's new to me. Would you mind sharing the
joblog?
If you are certain the fields are all the same, you can add FMTOPT(*MAP
*DROP) to the CPYF to achieve the desired result (though you shouldn't need
to from what you describe - there is something else going on here).
