Wanted to know my options, seems that since it is not supported I won't have
to worry about it. Thanks.

Jack,

I don't think it can be enabled and is not supported on a system that is
managed by VIOS (IVM).

My JS12 blade is IVM managed. When I use SST and attempt to work with
the Partition I see the following:

Logical Partitioning Environment Not
Supported
System:
VASI5
Virtual Partition Manager is not supported and this
service
function cannot be started. The system is in a state
that
does not allow this operating system to partition
the
server. Refer to the Virtual Partition Manager
documentation
for more
information.

I am curious as to why you are asking the question. Are you looking to
create another i partition or is there another reason you ask?

Is this supported, if so how do you enable it and what OS's.
