Scott, I don't believe you *can* use chroot from software that
interacts
with the network filesystems (QSYS.LIB et al) as you suggest. How are
you
doing that exactly?

I retract this; I now understand what you're saying, and it's borne on a
misunderstanding of what I suggested. Use chroot only to install properly.
After that, it's where it belongs.
