What's the easiest way to get a list of the programs in a library, with
their dates?
"Easiest" is a relative term depending upon experience .... :)
One way is to DSPOBJD library/*ALL *ALL OUTPUT(*OUTFILE)
OUTFILE(somelib/libobjs)
Then use a tool to generate a report from somelib/libobjs.
For example, the following from STRSQL (untested)
SELECT ODOBNM, ODOBTP, ODCDAT, ODUDAT, ODLDAT
FROM somelib/libobjs
