Mike, have you opened a CMD window and tried the CWBPING <yourhostname>
command? This should show you all the connection services and the PC's
ability to access them. Alternatively, you could launch iNavigator or
RDi and use the verify connection option.

Subject: Data Transfer to iSeries Server Error

We have a remote location that is trying to use the Data Transfter to
iSeries Server program to upload data. I am able to successfully upload
the
same data they are trying to upload. We are both on iSeries Access V5R4
SI35856. The server is at V5R4 SI32972.

They are getting a CWBC01047 error (
http://www-03.ibm.com/systems/i/software/access/linux/guide/cwbcoer.html
#CWBCO1047).
Being that I can upload sucessfully, I am guessing that the server is
running properly. This happens on multiple computers at the same
location.
The only variable my be the connection between the tow sites. The techs
here
call it a "slow connection". Green-screen however seems to work fine.

Has anyone else come across this? Any ideas on where to look next?
