In addition to the commitment control - MS Access will only update files
with unique keys via ODBC and the key selected when you link the file
must match the key on the file.

Could that be a red herring? Maybe commitment control is the issue?
Check to make sure the that the commitment control on the driver is
*NONE (Server tab, Advanced button)

I have a client trying to get an ODBC connection working. They already

The i5 is at 6.1 Access can 'read' the data just fine. For testing
*public has full permissions on the file and the library.
Anyone have a place I can look to see why they are getting an error
saying the the file is Read Only when they try to write data? The ODBC

connection is set to Read/Write.

Thanks
