It was a lack of certificates, was Re: Ok, now I can get into DCM but . . . (was RE: Secure Telnet on our 520)

Sure, it could be that there aren't any certificates, but if that's the case, why does sending my browser to the 2001 port immediately redirect me to the 2005 port with SSL? And I could have sworn seeing some message to the effect that my Operations Console connection was secured.

That was it. And it looks like they've finally gotten DCM and turning on secured Telnet to the point where it's completely painless.
