I see a lot of this in our older CLPs.

I think the idea is just that you can see what files the RPG uses, if
the list of OVRDBF is maintained.
Is there another, less obvious reason for this?
Well, let's see: DSPPGMREF will include the CL programs in its output. But
that's cheating.
