Its been a while since I did this, but if you create the menu with ? in the
parameters that you want prompting
for example
DSPPGM PGM(?)
or something like that
it should work

I have set up some menus for little used command that I forget about but
come in handy. Commands like DSPPGM, DSPPGMREF, CHGCMDDFT AND WRKRPYLE.
(That way I don't have to think, "Hmm, is there a command for that? F4,
show commands, Do I want by name? by subject?")
From the command line, if these are entered with no parameters, the
prompt screen appears. But if called from a menu, I get a CPD0071
error, "a required parameter was not specified".
WRKRPYLE works from the menu, the others do not.
What is the magic of the command line that allows parameters to be
prompted by pressing the enter key, but fails if called from a menu? Is
there a way around it?
