I have been using a Brother printer on my lan as a remote client access
printer for a VPN iSeries. The Brother printer has just quit with "end
of life on the Toner" and it will be a few days before I can get a
replacement.
I have a Zerox 6250 color laser printer on my lan that I was going to
use until I can get some toner for the Brother printer. My problem is
that the Client Access printer session still wants to talk to the
Brother printer and not the Zerox printer. I have tried reconfiguring
the printer on the Client access session and restarting the session, but
no joy. I have changed the Zerox printer to my windows default printer
- no joy. I have varied off the Brother printer on my local iSeries and
Varied on the Zerox printer - still no joy. I have not tried shutting
down my PC yet because I have about 15 sessions going and it takes
awhile to get everything backup and running, especially over the VPN.
Any ideas on how I can get the Client Access Printer session to talk to
the Zerox printer?
