Right, that's the name -- Mark Fleming had the great newsletter that
became Midrange Computing. He shut it down before it went bankrupt when
all the advertisers started leaving the midrange market in the late
90's. He sold off the book publishing business to Merikay. At least
that's the way I remember the story.

Midrange Computing was a third player in the market. It grew out of a
newsletter that was published out of San Diego and I can't remember that
guy's name, either. MC folded up shop some years ago and Merrikay Lee
bought or took over the publishing arm.
