What is the effect of that object not being included in your save?
SWA is not magic. It will do exactly what you tell it to do. If you
want every object on the system (without any other considerations) you
should go to a restricted state before you start your backup. If you
need your application data saved at a consistent checkpoint you'll need
to quiesce your application first.
Whenever setting up an SWA backup you'll initially need to watch joblogs
closely for missed objects, determine the need for those objects to be
backed up, and if you determine that they are needed figure out the most
acceptable way to make sure they get included.
In this particular case your options are:
1.) Ignore the error.
2.) ENDPFRCOL FRCCOLEND(*YES) before you start your backup and
STRPFRCOL after.
3.) Use OMITOBJ((*ALL *MGTCOL))
4.) OMITLIB(QMPGDATA)
The question you need to answer is: Do you really need a Management
Collection object for any conceivable restore scenario? If the answer
is yes, then option 2 is your solution.
