COMMON should stop moving it from place to place every year so they
could negotiate much better terms and user's managers would not think of
it as a resort conference to be given as a perk.

Nah...this stuff should have been negotiated a year ago...I'm just not
impressed that COMMON still hasn't gotten the message about attendees
needing properly priced rooms...even after the big BOM session at
Reno...someone just doesn't get it.

Anyone know why the room rate for the IBM tech conf was $142/night but

COMMON it's going to be $211/n.before taxes. ???  

 

Same hotel.  Same city..  why the $70 diff???
