One that comes to mind is having the backup try to occur when the system
is the least busy so that you can get a sync point on each file. Otherwise
the save won't happen. In my experience the "save-while-active" is nice
in theory, but on a busy system it can be hard to achieve.

Due to a real-time Shop Floor Control 3-shift program we will have in
effect next year, I may have to change to a "save-while-active" option.
Are there any issues to be aware of with that?
