I have 2 Ricoh's, a Toshiba and a cannon. I can't get any of them to work. Following the same procedure as you, everything appears fine until sending print. Then the device refuses the connection.

Subject: Networked Printer

Wondering about the best way to setup some new Ricoh multi-function printers. I normally do a:

CRTDEVPRT - Device Class *LAN - LAN Attachment *IP. Get the System Driver Program right, and select the correct printer (if using Host Print Transform) and it normally works. I have just tried this on a shiny new Ricoh Aficio MP C2050 and it worked fine.

When I read about this method in a redbook a few years ago, I remember there were other ways of doing it. Anyone like to suggest one that might be better?

The printer will also be available via a windows print server - is it possible to use this?
