I get the message that the date is smaller than the minimum permitted,
and ++++++++ is displayed. If I take the date of birth out of the
select, the problem doesn't occur.

However, if I look at the client with runqry, I see 07.03.1930 as the
birthdate.

Difficult to help without exact error message, but it sounds like (maybe)
your WHERE clause did not use the expected format for the birthdate field.
Guessing again.

Can you supply the exact (failing) SQL and the exact error message, please?
