IBM support must really be loads better in the US than here.

I remember when we got the first Thin Console (now discontinued) here,
and had several issues getting them to work IBM didn't know anything,
there was no Documentation, the IBM guys here didn't find any
documentation either, so i just spent enough time on it and got it to
work.

I wrote an A4 sheet with the steps that needed to be taken to get a
Thin Console operational. I mailed that to my IBM support contact.

About half a year later, we had an issue with a Thin Console and a IBM
technician arrived on site. He had the same A4 sheet with him - exact
same formatting and fonts, but our company Logo was replaced by an IBM
logo.
