The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
I wasn't suggesting changing it for every backup, Just for the test. We
adjust ours during tests or upgrades. I assumed someone besides the
operator would be there for a DR test.
Been too long since I was at a shop with an operator (hmm, back then I was
on of the operators).

duptap should work on virtual tape devices. But a second save may be
faster. Some duptap's really drag on. Remember - you'd have to do two
duptap's versus one additional save.
Another thing about changing system values - if you have to restore you'll
be restoring the wrong system values - because you changed them to do the
save. :-)
