Here is how to turn off the light and to further research the issue:


Start service tools using STRSST command
Sign in to service tools
On System Service Tools (SST) menu, take option 1 Start a service tool
On Start a Service Tool menu, take option 7 Hardware service manager
On Hardware Service Manager menu, take option 6 Work with service action
log
On Select Timeframe menu, select a date/time range including the time when
the problem occurred
On Service Action Log Report screen, review all the problems. Some problems
may be serious and require hardware support to fix them. If you are content
that the listed problems are not serious, or have been fixed, press F6 to
Acknowledge All Errors.
Press F10 to confirm that you want to acknowledge the errors. The *attention
* *light* should go out shortly.
