I do that. I'm sure there's documentation out there...a good place to look
for thing (not i specific necessarily) is http://www.mqseries.net/.

Here's the command file on the PC:

echo off
set MQPATH=c:\ta\
echo Path is set to %MQPATH%
set MQINSTANCE=A
echo Instance is set to %MQINSTANCE%
set MQSERVER=HP.CHNL/TCP/192.168.1.19(1822)
mqproc HP.RTL.SVR%MQINSTANCE% HP.SVR.RTL HP.QMGR %MQINSTANCE%

mqproc.exe is my program. The important thing is setting MQSERVER to the
channel, IP address and port that's used on the i.

Shoot me an email if you have a question.

Hi All,

I recently refreshed our copy of the MQ Services on our 400 (v7.0). I
installed the client on a Windows platform and I am having a heck of a time
trying to get the client to connect. Does anyone know of any documentation
that describes how to get a Windows client up and connecting to MQ services
on an iSeries machine? I've done several searches but all documentation I
have found only focuses on a single client/server scenario and not on
cross-platform connectivity.

Thanks!
