IBM has blade firmware in a new .SH file format. When I run that .sh
file I get an error : gzip not found. So I am not sure what I am
doing wrong.

I FTP'd the file to the blade. Placed it in the default directory of
the padmin login. Ran "chmod a+x FileName" to make it executable.
Then typed the file name at the $ prompt to run it.

How do I install blade firmware from an .SH file?

thanks,
