sharing a tape library between two partitions -- MIDRANGE-L

I need to share a tape library between two partitions for backup using BRMS which will use DDM so I have one database.

I know I can move a tape drive/library from one partition to another with a pgm and that is an option.

What other ways can I share the tape library between two partitions?

Electric SCSI switch? Daisy chain SCSI devices? etc?
