the text in IVM, on the Storage tab of partition properties says "...
You can change the storage assignments for the partition by
deselecting existing items or selecting items that are not currently
assigned. ... " Does that mean I can take a disk from a loaded IBM i
partition and use it for a new partition? I kind of doubt it.
according to IVM, an IBM i partition needs a minimum of 512MB of
memory. Can two blades share the same memory as long as only one blade
is active at a time?
Can two IBM i partitions share the same set of 4 hard drives? Where
each partition gets half of each drive. The idea being to maximize the
disk arms available to each partition.
