Well, I am planning to lurk around, but my contributions will probably

be much fewer, given that I won't be as close to the source material

Don't let that stop you! I'm still active in my local i user group, and
post here often enough -- and spend all my time in Visual Studio w/C#.
Oh, and midrange does have a .net list, I'm sure those of us on it
wouldn't mind a non-i related question every so often.
