Charles,
Yes, it does. Thanks for the tip.

Richard,

You only get this message when you have two sessions opened at the
same time. Go back to your first session to delete messages.

If you've closed the first session, without signing on use WRKOBJLCK
XXXXX *MSGQ to find the session's job and end it.

Lastly, if for instance you have something that monitors the message
queue, that process may be the one with the lock. For exmaple, I use
the Softlanding RSE Extensions in WDSCi. One of the extensions allows
for monitoring my message cue and popping up or emailing messages.
Thus, every time I sign onto 5250, and I've already got WDSCi running,
I see the message you are seeing.

Charles

to another job.", when I sign in.  I suspect that this occurs because
another session was opened simultaneously at some time in the past.    I
cannot delete the messages in this que.  How do I fix this?

Thanks in advance for any help!
