Actually, the AS/400 specs look like they were lifted directly from $DSORT
on the System/3. I had experience with that, my first taste of an AS/400 was
when I converted from a System/3 to a model B AS/400.

It has been a while, but from what I recall there was little or no
difference between the way Sort specs are coded on the S/36 - S/38 -
AS/400 - iSeries - System i - IBM i.
