My company has done business with a number of Fortune 500 companies, and I
don't recall ever being asked to provide any coverage other than liability
and worker's compensation for my employees who work on /their/ site.
Errors & Omissions coverage can be /very/ expensive, and companies that
demand such coverage tend to be litigious. If you cannot get their business
without such coverage, I would make them pay the price of the E&O coverage
in the form of higher prices.
If you find an an insurance company which will give you a quote in E&O
coverage, I would then quote the client two prices for doing a project - one
which includes E&O coverage, another which does not, and let them decide...
Regards,
Steve

A potential client is asking for every kind of business insurance
imaginable from liability to Errors-and-Omissions to ... lability is
one thing but the errors and omissions I'm finding hard to locate.
So far we're having trouble finding companies that even offer such
policies for small businesses let alone the costs or indeed any sign
that anyone offers cross-border policies since we operate both in
Canada and the US (and in Europe for that matter).
Anyone have such policies ?
And if so could you point me that the appropriate companies.
