Most small UPS batteries (less than 5kVA) have a maintenance cycle of
3 years. We note the purchase date of our customer's UPSes, and offer
a replacement 2.5 years in, to prevent these issues from happening
Another important part - buy your machines with redundant power
supllies. If possible, connect each power supply to a different UPS.
If you only have a single UPS, connect the second power supply
directly to the wall (might not be a good idea if you live somewhere
with poor power).
