about compiling your program. We also have a PC based Integrated

of Websphere Development Client for i (WDSC or WDSCi) or Rational
Development for i (RDi).
You say you're new to working an a Power System, what version of the OS
are you running? Type GO LICPGM to go to the licensed programs menu.
Then choose option 10 to display licensed programs that are installed on
your system. Press F11 and the second column will show the version and
release of your OS. If you share that with us, we can point you in the
right direction to find the latest PC development tools.

RPG IV program complile
Being a newbie to the Power System I'm trying to complie a RPG program
and the instructions say it can
compiled directly with PDM option 14, no prompting necessary.
I go to the MAIN and select option 5 Programming which takes me to
option 2 Programming Development Manager, but not option 14.
Where can I find this PDM option 14 or maybe a better way to do this?
Please help me before I go crazy. :)
