You can easily create static HTML pages using most word
processors.
That may be okay for a quick and dirty solution, but HTML generated from Microsoft Office is horribly formatted, and a terrible example to learn from.
At some point, go to
http://www.w3schools.com/ and begin with their tutorials. Properly designed & formatted HTML is so much easier to work with - over time.
