Stuff in QMGTC gets hose from time to time. I would do a SAVLIB to a savf
using SaveWhileActive with a 2sec lockwait. That will find the damaged
object without going throught huge joblogs. When you find the object either
Google it or go to the 'current' iSeries support page and use the search box
in the top right at
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/support/iseries/index.html

Nothing in joblog for 22 hrs (not exact)...
I'm thinking there was a msg at the console and when the users came in they
pressed enter or something - next thing QCTL started.
They have asked me to make certain it won't happen again.
This has run each weekend for years.
I did do a rclstg against the lib QMGTC in case a damaged object.
No result.
System is due for ptfs, but it's not that old - late 2008 for v5r4.

JIm I want to remember seeing this type of error msg on Powerdown's and
Endsbs *ALL *Immed. Does the joblog show the parms taken as part of the
21?
The default for Inquiry Messages is *Break, so unless it was set to
*Notify
the program acted right... So Nothing in the Joblog or DSPLOG?

Still trying to pinpoint a problem where a Full System Save (menu Save

hung
for 22 hours with no log entries. Can't get anyone to admit if a msg on
the
console screen.
This is the one error in the QHST log during the endsbs *all

IBM Directory Server (690428/QDIRSRV/QDIRSRV) failed.

Any ideas?
