Well on both my 5.4 and 6.1 partitions FTP jobs are running at priority 25
which should be the default... Also by default they run in *BASE pool. maybe
that pool is a little short of memory. I wouldn't put a file transfer job up
there with my interactive users

Hi Folks,

Had a developer that is using FTP to get stuff from the iSeries and pull
it down to a Windows server. He says "...yesterday when FTP tried to go
into passive mode, it took your iSeries a full minute to reply"

And he wanted to know if there was some way to give FTP a higher
priority ?

Thanks,

Chuck
