I am not sure what to make of this. This particular sFTP job triggers an
automated reply from the destination after a put operation.
Most of the time, the confirmation email states success when the sFTP job has
posted a success message to QSYSOPR. Same thing when there is a failure. But,
today, the message posted to QSYSOPR stated that the file transfer was
successful, yet the receiver site claimed it was not. Restarting the sFTP job
resulted in the file being sent successfully, both according to QSYSOPR and the
confirming email.
Any idea why the transfer today stated failure when the sFTP session did not
report an error?
Rather confusing.
